Design & Technology
Grange Park Junior School follows the Kapow Scheme for Design & Technology (DT), offering a progressive and cross-curricular approach across all year groups.
Each year, pupils will focus on key areas such as cooking, structures, and textiles, allowing them to develop essential skills like cutting, sewing, and reinforcing materials.
Through the design process, pupils will have the opportunity to express their ideas, reflect on their designs, and solve any challenges they encounter before creating their final product. DT also provides pupils the opportunity to see how these creations will be used in real life.
We are proud to have our very own, fully equipped DT room in school where these exciting lessons can take place!
