Phonics

In Key Stage One, pupils complete their phonics screening test. Because of our excellent relationships with the infant school, this data is shared and assessed. By the time pupils join us in Key Stage 2, pupils will have mastered their phonics. However, some pupils may need extra support.

To support these pupils, we run regular, small group interventions using different schemes of work depending on the needs of the pupils. Some of the schemes we use include: Floppy Phonics, Letters and Sounds, Twinkl Phonics and Direct Phonics resources.
